    Nice story on Jack. Can you tell me what the Battle of the Pickets was? Listed between Fair Oaks and Malvern Hill, it appears to have been one of the Seven Days Battles. Thanks.

    • Hi Bob,

      I don’t know the answer to that question. Nothing appears on the 102nd’s order of battle to indicate. They were lightly engaged on the Peninsula with Fair Oaks and Malvern Hill being their primary engages.
